Highlights – 4/2 – Canucks vs Oilers

Monday, February 4th, 2013

The Vancouver Canucks travelled to Edmonton to battle the Oilers, Roberto Luongo was in goal.

The Oilers got off to a good start with a goal in the first and followed up early into the 2nd. Vancouver replied shortly there after and levelled it in the 3rd.

The game went to overtime. Taylor Hall for the Oilers was hooked by Luongo and went for what turned out to be an unsuccessful penalty shot.

Chris Tanev scored with 19 seconds left in OT to take the Canucks win. This was Tanev’s first NHL career goal and also first as a Canuck.

Never quite liking Australian sport, Myles fell in love with Hockey when he fell in love with his Canadian. His first Canucks game sealed the deal. Myles loves this graceful hard arsed game and loves even more the only team in sports that can bring him to tears. We are all Canucks.
