Highlights – Oilers vs Canucks – 5/10

Sunday, October 6th, 2013

It was the Canucks’ home opener of the season and what a show it was.

The Canucks Organisation has once again stepped it up this year, with a great new opening show and stanchion lights.

Edmonton scored early but the Canucks came back shortly after, then buried another two 18 seconds apart.

Coach John Tortorella showed what we love about him, sticking up for his players in a cross bench argument. Vancouverites loved the passion.

I was too busy at the Canucks Australia meetup having fun with fellow Canucks fans, so we’ll let the videos do the work.

Canucks in the end won 6-2.

Never quite liking Australian sport, Myles fell in love with Hockey when he fell in love with his Canadian. His first Canucks game sealed the deal. Myles loves this graceful hard arsed game and loves even more the only team in sports that can bring him to tears. We are all Canucks.
